With activities inspired by Agile, Lean Startup, Lean UX, Express Usability and more, this hands-on session is designed specifically so that you can take away tips and tricks, and use them to facilitate your meetings more effectively and efficiently.  We've done the legwork for you, and we'll teach you only what works.  Through stories, pictures, and games, we’ll break down the nuts & bolts of facilitating effective working sessions – and how to tailor them to a specific project or organization.

In this half-day session, you'll learn to facilitate the following 5 core activities, each with endless possible variations:

  1. Group Mad Libs: for generating lots of ideas, no matter who is in the room
     
  2. Wall Voting: for efficient collaborative decision-making
     
  3. Persona Sketches: to generate collective understanding of key audiences, website visitors, types of clients, etc.
     
  4. Fill-in-the-blank & Write-and-pass User Stories: for understanding key requirements, features, customer motivations, and business value created
     
  5. Show-and-tell: group variation of image-based projective interviewing, as described in Journal of Digital & Social Media Marketing
